Plot: Dil Bechara is an adaption of 'The Fault In Our Stars'. The film revolves around Kizie Basu and Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka Manny and explores the funny, thrilling and tragic adventure of being alive and in love. Saif Ali Khan will be seen in an interesting role in the romantic drama. The film begins with Kizie Basu introducing us to her 'boring life'. She has thyroid cancer and carries her best friend, her oxygen cylinder all around. Kizie doesn't want to be strong; she just wants to be normal. Enter Immanuel Rajkumar Junior aka Manny. The boy is a huge fan of 'Thalaiva' Rajinikanth, and spreads happiness wherever he goes. He even smiles through his osteosarcoma. Soon, Kizie meets Manny and the duo become friends and slowly start falling other for each other. In Kizie's words, 'love is like falling asleep; it happens slowly and then all at once.' Just when Kizie learns to live her life to the fullest; thanks to Manny, a harsh reality comes knocking at her door.
